This page allows you to view the items and the corresponding price variants. To search for items with price variants, you need to define one or more search criteria and click Show.
Price variants are used in Exact Synergy Enterprise to determine the total sales price for the items. The price types available are Discounts and Variants. The Discounts type is used to define price models that are dependant on the total number of items sold. Sales prices are calculated based on the price per item. For example, the price for item A is EUR 200 per unit for one unit, EUR 180 per unit for two units, and EUR 150 per unit for five units. Therefore, the total price calculated for three units sold is EUR 540 (3*180) and the total price for eight units sold is EUR 1200 (8*150).
The Variants type is used to define price models that are not dependant on the total number of items sold. Sales prices are calculated based on the total price for a certain quantity of items. The price per unit is the total price divided by the quantity. For example the total price for one unit of item B is EUR 200, two units is EUR 380, and five units is EUR 850. The total price calculated for three units sold is EUR 570 ((380/2) *3), and the total price for eight units sold is EUR 1360 ((850/5)*8).

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.
Click Show to display the items that match the defined criteria.
Click Refresh to update the results according to the last defined criteria. This button is available after you have clicked Show.
Click this to clear the defined criteria.
Click this to exit.
Select a country to display the items that are available in the country.
Select an option to display the relevant items with price variants. The display options available are:
Type or select a date range to display the items that are valid on within the period. If you fill in the start date only, items that are valid starting from the date will be displayed. If you fill in the end date only, items that are valid on and before the date will be displayed.
Select an assortment to display items that are linked to the assortment.
Select an item code or a range of item codes to display the items.
You can see this section after you have selected your search criteria and then clicking Show. This section displays the items that match the defined criteria. You can view the price variant details for the items. To view the price variant details, click the amount in the Price or Total price column, depending on the type of price variant displayed in the Type column. If the type is Discount, click the amount in the Price column. If the type is Variant, click the amount in the Total price column.
